The EURO DEFENCE EXPO (EUDEX) is a new international trade fair dedicated to the defence and security industry. Its inaugural edition will take place from 22 to 25 September 2026 at Messe Essen, Germany. The exhibition will be held alongside Security Essen, creating an integrated platform that brings together civil and military security technologies and solutions.

EUDEX will bring together manufacturers, technology providers, armed forces, government authorities, procurement agencies, research organisations and policy makers from across Europe and beyond, fostering business opportunities, strategic partnerships and knowledge exchange on the future of defence and security.

The exhibition covers the entire defence industry value chain, including:

• Land, naval and aerospace systems;
• Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence (C4ISR);
